The subject of his PhD thesis, completed in 1994 at the university of Wageningen, the Netherlands, was the theoretical and practical implications of heat and moisture balances in hatching eggs before and during incubation.
From 1998 until 2007, he worked as technical specialist for first Hubbard/ISA and later Hybro bv, being responsible for development and implementation of management techniques in the whole chain of broiler production.
Eduardo Romanini
Master's degree in Agricultural Engineering from the University of Campinas in Brazil.
Ficha ProfesionalFollowing his academic pursuits, Eduardo became a member of the Petersime team responsible for establishing their initial single-stage hatchery in Brazil. He dedicated three years to offering incubation assistance to Petersime clients in Latin America. Subsequently, Eduardo participated in a 5-year scientific investigation on embryo-response technologies as part of a collaborative programme between Petersime and the University of Leuven in Belgium, during which he earned his PhD. Since 2018, Eduardo has held the position of incubation specialist at the Research and Development department. In this role, he is responsible for conducting incubation research and overseeing commercial trials.

Nick French retired in 2020 after 37 years working in the poultry industry

Nick would continue to work at British United Turkeys for the next 26 years, for the last 5 years as Technical Director.

Peter brings over 44 years of poultry industry experience

He later joined a large integrator as their hatchery manager before traveling internationally to develop his knowledge in hatchery standards and best practices. Peter then expanded his career into the processing plant where he implemented management strategies and training programs. Peter joined Embrex, Inc. in 1999 to support the installation of Inovoject systems and has since developed into other global roles providing invaluable service and support to our customers in a practical way to help them achieve their hatchery goals. Peter is currently the Hatchery Support Manager for the International division of GBD.
